Welcome to Wired Learning, a space in which I will discuss technology and education and how the two can and should be integrated in order to offer modern students the kind of learning that is crucial to their survival in our wired world.

As both an educator and long-time student, I am familiar with the challenges encountered when it comes to working with subjects that are unfamiliar and seemingly unconnected to ever day life. I know what my students mean when they say reading Shakespeare is like reading a foreign language. I also know how it feels not to understand how to successfully connect a VGA cord to a classroom projector system. In short, Shakespeare and VGA cords are important--and they go together. This blog will document my discoveries regarding the connections between education and technology, and the ways in which to incorporate the two effectively into the classroom.
